💪 Buff of the Week: Restorative Sleep
The latest science backed health tip and how I actually implement it in my lifestyle.

The Research:
Sleep quality scores are based on generalized sleep recommendations and may lead to inaccurately self-diagnosing yourself with insomnia.
The Two Laws of Sleep, focus on the sleep debt and circadian rhythm.
Sleep debt is the amount of sleep you've missed out on in the past 14 days relative to your sleep need and circadian rhythm how consistently you sleep at the same time every day.
Even missing 1 hour of sleep daily over a week is equivalent to not sleeping for a full 24 hours straight.
Daily life implementation:
I try to sleep 8 hours and keep my sleep debt below 5 hours.
I try to sleep within an 1-2 hours of my sleep time.
In the event I fail to do that, I try to take a brief nap in the day to recover minor pieces of sleep debt.
At night time, I use gray scale mode on my phone and reduce the brightness to the lowest level.
Why I like it?
It’s a simple system that doesn’t require me to keep track of the cycle I’m in.
🥗 Potion of the Week: Celi-nut
Simple, cheap, healthy instant snacks that I’ve made for a gaming session instead of eating cheetos. No life story included.

Recipe:
Celery
Peanut Butter
Instructions:
Rinse the celery, dip in peanut butter
If you’re feeling fancy, apply peanut butter in the “half-pipe”, and sprinkle raisins.
Why I like it?
Protein, healthy fats, healthy minerals, and easy veggie intake
It’s like chips and salsa level of prep, which makes it an easy snack while waiting for matches in game lobby.
📰 Meta Question of the Week
A fun question that you can ask a friend or a significant other for a shared new memory.

Question:
Where is the most awe-inspiring place you’ve ever visited?
Why I like it?
It’s a great way to add places you want to see to your list, while learning about your fellow person.
