Welcome new and legacy heroes alike! Last week we wrote about how to tank through your goals, this week we'll talk about another way to keep you consistent! Join 26,857 gamers on their journey to self-improvement.
A Motivation Modifier
When we want to motivate ourselves, we focus on incentives like treating ourselves to a new game or the end result i.e losing weight.
Those are great long-term incentives, but unfortunately, will be difficult to motivate you to start the activity or even during the activity.
The solution is fun.

Vanilla is Old, Try Homebrew
Doing the same thing every day gets boring quickly. Even games get boring when they are repetitive. Imagine doing an activity you don't want to do.
Fun activities remove the barrier to starting and also keep you coming back the next day for more.
A Campaign You Decide

Here are 3 ways to make an activity like running fun:
- Play tag with a friend, your dog, or your kids.
- Listen to your favorite audio book or podcasts only when you exercise.
- Compete with a partner, friend, or gamer buddy with steps.
These can be standalone solutions, but the fun also comes from making an activity exciting to you.
You will know you've found the right routine when you enjoy it! It will be a dynamic experience like any great dungeon campaign.
Come back next week!
Hero Trainer is Built By You
We believe a great game comes from listening to suggestions and feedback from a diverse community. However, we go further by letting our community participate directly.

We will have opportunities for you to voice characters to creating lore to designing swag and many more. These opportunities come up in our discord, and the polls happen in our blog/email like the one below!
